Our theory is that the more success you have, the more handsomely rewarded you should be. It is fully expected that you will be able to make over $50,000 in your first year alone.

The Details

We are looking for an energetic person to work in the marketing department opening and maintaining advertising accounts in the Lakes Region for both of our weekly newspapers, one in Windham, the other covering Gray-New Gloucester. We’re also working on a few interesting new projects that should be both exciting, and lucrative. Associates degree or higher in a business related field preferred, sales experience a plus but not necessary as we are willing to train. We welcome those who have excelled in real estate, retail and call center sales. Enthusiasm for the job a must, positive attitude absolutely required, must have reliable transportation, must have the motivation to meet and exceed sales goals. Applicant must also be able to work well alone and with a small team as well as having the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment. This job entails committing to establishing as well as maintaining long-term relationships with current and new advertisers. This job does require a small amount of data entry. Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel a major plus. Creativity also a plus. This job requires a combination of phone work as well as plenty of face-to-face interactions with current and prospective customers. Pay is salary plus the most competitive commissions around
